About the award

The first edition of the National Sculpture Award “Alimondo Ciampi”, organized by Pro Loco Signa, celebrates ceramics and terracotta. The artworks must be designed for public spaces and suitable for outdoor display, encouraging dialogue between contemporary art and the local area. The competition is open to artists of all ages and nationalities. Each artist may submit one artwork, made predominantly of ceramic or terracotta, measuring between 50 and 70 cm in each dimension.
